Marketing Manager (Hotels & Leisure Cluster) (2024)

Overview:

The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our hospitality brands, Heritage Resorts (HR) and Veranda Resorts (VR), by developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies that align with the Rogers Hospitality’s vision and objectives.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of luxury hospitality, golf marketing, and data-driven decision-making to enhance guest experiences, optimize revenue, and strengthen brand loyalty.

Your Role:

  • Execute the CAP, 26 objectives and marketing plans that aligns for each business lines. (Heritage Resorts, Veranda Resorts, World of Seashells, Bel Ombre Nature Reserve, Chamarel 7 Coloured Earth and Le Chamarel Restaurant.)
  • Golf: Use of guest data to leverage golf-focused communication/content during In-stay with proper identification. Develop In-Room experience with golf-themed welcome kit with all golf information and a quick way to book additional rounds at La Réserve Golf Links to reach the budgeted rounds.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Revenue & Direct Sales to develop and execute promotional strategy throughout the year.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaign and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Marketing Strategy aligned with Revenue and Occupancy Goals. (Yearly Marketing Calendar)
  • Generate revenue throughout the customer journey stages, from pre-stay and arrival to in-stay. (Site Inspection within all business units to see if activation is being done)
  • Ensure that all touch points are being executed - review the collaterals onsite - Checklist
  • Create and/or review the signatures experiences whilst showcasing the pillars which define the brands (HR & Resorts)
  • Consolidate the VR brand experiences, assessing the Price-Experience Ratio, meet and define with each HOD for respective Business Unit and implement experiences based on Commercial Requirement
  • Review all activated Experiences and report Insights (Consumption & Revenue)
  • Collaborate for the setting up of the Marketing requirements and specifications for the hotel web based APP, push and promote the Mobile App in hotel. (HR)
  • Ensure the coordination between the operations and the S&M and Communications shared functions for all projects and matters relating to S&M, align all information between the Operation team, Communication and Head Office (Commercial Team)
  • Enhance the symbiosis BEL OMBRE Experience - by creating a combinable package with experiences around Bel Ombre (Hotels, Golf, Bel Ombre Nature Reserve, World of Seashells) and push Leisure cluster within HR Marketing Collaterals to increase the capture rate from our resorts to Bel Ombre Nature Reserve.
  • Customer Journey Mapping, to map all guests touch points from Pre-Stay, In-Stay and Post-Stay to identify gaps and provide solutions with the aim for better efficiency, guest satisfaction and increase TREVPOR.
  • Oversee and coordinate the creative development of promotional materials, website contents, advertisem*nt, marketing campaigns and other marketing-related materials.
  • Coordinate the production of all sales promotional materials and marketing campaigns

Other Responsibilities assigned:

  • E-Conciergerie: Ongoing enhancement of"Plan Your Stay" - drive more revenue (Online)
  • Social Media & Online Reviews: Monitor online reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor, Google, and social media to gauge guests’ perceptions of value. Pay attention to recurring themes, whether positive or negative, that influence perceived value.
  • Guest Segmentation and Personalisation: Enrich guest profiles through behavioural segmentation (based on their behaviour, preferences, booking patterns and spending habits), predictive analytics (to forecast guest preferences and behaviour to identify upsell opportunities) - Use of Data Warehouse/Customer Data Platform/Marketing Automation/Web App/Surveys/Interviews/CSI.
  • Market intelligence:Research competitor offerings and carry out market research data to establish product pricing, offerings, unique selling points and unique experiences.(Review the Price-Value Mapping for all properties, including the SWOT analysis) Visits of Competitors.
  • Sustainability: Promote Heritage Resorts as a eco-luxury resort and highlighting our eco-friendly practices and conservation efforts across all touch points (In-Resorts, Online, Offline communications & tools) - Promote NFT initiatives across all other hotels.

Your Profile:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is usually required. A master's degree or additional certifications (such as a CIM or MBA) can be a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in managing marketing campaigns, digital marketing, and strategic planning, experience in a managerial or leadership role is often preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals.
  • Ability to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and campaign performance to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong creative skills to develop engaging marketing materials and campaigns that capture the target audience's attention.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage resources effectively, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitor strategies.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
